📱 Mobile Phone Support Guide

At Simply Telecom, we provide business mobile phones and SIMs with reliable coverage across all four major UK networks. Whether you're setting up a new device, managing SIMs, or troubleshooting an issue, this guide covers the essentials.


🔧 Getting Started with Your Mobile Phone

1. Insert Your SIM Card

  • Ensure your phone is powered off
  • Insert the SIM card provided by Simply Telecom
  • Turn your phone back on — it should automatically connect to the network

2. Activate Your SIM (if required)

If your SIM isn’t active yet, contact our team via chat or email with:

  • The mobile number
  • The 19-digit SIM number printed on the card

We'll activate it and confirm once it's live (usually within 1–4 working hours).

3. Set Up Voicemail

Dial 901 (or your network’s voicemail access number) and follow the prompts to:

  • Set your voicemail greeting
  • Change your PIN
  • Manage message settings

📶 Troubleshooting Mobile Phone Issues

✅ No Signal or Network?

  • Make sure Airplane Mode is turned off
  • Restart your phone
  • Check if you’re in a coverage area (especially indoors or in rural areas)
  • Try removing and reinserting the SIM

If you’re still having issues, contact us with:

  • The postcode you’re in
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Your phone make/model

✅ Can't Make or Receive Calls?

  • Check if your bill is paid and account is in good standing
  • Make sure the SIM is properly inserted
  • Try the SIM in another device (this can help rule out phone issues)

✅ Slow Data or No Internet?

  • Make sure Mobile Data is switched on in settings
  • Check you have a 4G or 5G signal

    Try resetting network settings:

    • iPhone: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    • Android: Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

🔄 SIM Swaps and Replacements

If your phone is lost, stolen, or damaged, we can issue a replacement SIM. Please contact our support team with:

  • Your name and account number
  • The mobile number needing replacement
  • The reason for the request

We'll send a new SIM and help you activate it with the same number.


📦 Lost or Stolen Phone?

Please let us know immediately:

  • We can bar the SIM and device to prevent unauthorised use
  • If your plan includes insurance, we’ll help with the claims process
  • We can dispatch a replacement SIM or device if covered
