O2 APN
📱 What is an APN?
The Access Point Name (APN) controls how your mobile phone connects to the internet and MMS services over the mobile network. If this is not set correctly, you may experience:
- No mobile data
- Inability to send or receive MMS
- Poor connectivity when switching between 3G/4G/5G
✅ O2 UK APN Settings
Here are the official O2 UK APN settings to manually input into your device.
📲 For Most Smartphones (Android & iPhone):

📱 How to Enter the APN Settings
📱 iPhone (iOS):
Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network
Under Mobile Data, input:
- APN:
mobile.o2.co.uk - Username:
o2web - Password:
password
- APN:
- Scroll to MMS and enter the rest of the settings as above
- Restart your phone
If your iPhone doesn’t show APN options, it may be locked or provisioned differently. Contact our team for assistance.
🤖 Android:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Access Point Names
- Tap Add (+) or select an existing O2 APN to edit
- Input the settings from the table above
- Save and select this APN as the active one
- Restart your device
Menu names may vary slightly depending on phone model or Android version.
🔁 Still Not Working?
Try the following:
- Toggle Airplane Mode on/off
- Restart your phone
- Check your mobile data is enabled
- Try your SIM in another device to rule out a device issue
